Car wash mode: prompts, closes windows, boot and charge port, locks, folds the mirrors in N and unfolds them in D

How it works

You start it before you drive in. After a few reminders, it closes the windows, boot and charging flap and locks the car. When you shift into N, the mirrors fold; in D they unfold again.

When it's useful

For conveyor car washes – handy because the mirrors unfold by themselves when you shift into D.

What to watch out for

6789 0004 does exactly the same. Use only one of the two. No combo can shift into N or switch off Auto Hold, and no known action turns off the automatic wipers – you do these yourself.
