Conflict groups

Combos in the same group control the same function. Keep one per group, unless the group allows two.

GroupWhy they clashCodesUse at once

Heating & climate by outside temperatureThey control heating, wheel and seat heating or climate, and overwrite each other.91

Cooling while parkedSeveral remote cooling routines run in parallel and waste energy.41
Stop defoggingTwo combos with the same function.21
Seat functions off when getting outTwo combos with the same function.21
Automatic massageDifferent triggers and durations overwrite each other. Don't combine them with “Massage when buckling up” or “Continuous massage” either.31
Massage when buckling upOne combo each for the driver's and passenger seat – both together are fine. Don't combine them with other massage automations.22

How to use a code

  1. Check your software. XCOMBO arrived in Europe with XOS 5.4.5. Searching by code needs XOS 5.6 or later, and location conditions need XOS 5.9.5.
  2. Open XCOMBO in the XPENG app or on the centre display and search for the code. Type the 8 digits without the space.
  3. Open the combo and read every condition and action before you save it.
  4. Change the values to suit your car and routine: temperatures, places, times and volume.
  5. Save and enable the combo, then test it once with the car parked in a safe place.
  6. Every driver who wants the combo adds it to their own account.

Good to know

Combos belong to an account, not to the car
A combo only runs while the XPENG account that added it is signed in on the car. Passengers and family members with their own profiles don't trigger it.
Two kinds of trigger
In-vehicle combos react while the car is on, for example to the gear or a door. Remote combos run while the car is off, for example to pre-heat it in the morning. The app only offers actions that fit the trigger type.
Works across models, with limits
Codes can be shared between XPENG models. Combos built on a G6, P7+ or X9 can use functions or names your G9 doesn't have. The list marks these.
How it's spelled
XPENG calls the feature XCOMBO in the app and in its press releases. In forums you'll also see X-Combo and XCombo.

Known problems

The combo never runs
All conditions have to be true at the same moment. “Gear D and speed 15–180 km/h” can't fire when you shift into D, because the car is still standing. Also check that you're signed in with the right profile and that your XOS version supports every condition.
Combos overwrite each other
Two combos that control the same thing, such as heating or volume, work against each other. Each code in the list shows its conflict group. Keep one combo per group.
Warning pop-ups still appear
Some combos that switch off warning chimes still ask for a tap on the display; others run without confirmation. The notes in the list say which.
Settings change unexpectedly
A combo can overwrite settings you made by hand. Ambient lighting settings can get lost this way, and a lighting combo that wasn't thought through can switch the lights off at night.
Battery drain
Sentry, keeping the 12 V system on and remote cooling cost energy. Limit run times and use location conditions where you can.
Location conditions are approximate
They need XOS 5.9.5 and detect places within about 200 m, which can include the street next to yours.
Car wash limits
A combo can't shift into N or switch off Auto Hold, and no known action switches off the automatic wipers. Do these yourself.
Code not found
The creator may have deleted or changed the combo, or it needs a newer XOS version than yours.

Safety and responsibility

You stay responsible
EU rules require new cars to switch on driver monitoring, speed-limit warnings and emergency lane keeping at every start. Combos that switch them off do so on your responsibility. Only use them if you know exactly what they switch off.
Children and pets
Don't rely on auto-lock combos when children or pets are in the car. There are reports of cars locking while a child was still buckled in.
Test while parked
Try a new combo with the car parked in a safe place, not while driving.
Camera recordings
Sentry and camera recordings may be legally restricted where you park, for example in Germany. Check the local rules.
Unchecked codes
Neither XPENG nor this site checks these codes. Read every combo before you save it.
